Player Selection and Tryouts

The Eagles club is open to any player. It is not our policy to actively recruit players from other clubs. Our approach is to inform the community of our program, allowing interested players to come forward. A banner is displayed prominently at The Gardens Ice House, which is the home arena for the 2008-2009 Eagles. The Eagles championship banners from previous seasons are also hanging at The Gardens Ice House.

TCE 2008/2009 Season

Try Out Schedule- Note each time and date as they change

Squirts:

• Monday, April 28: 6:10 to 7:10 PM ("newcomers" only) (Logsdon Pavilion)
• Tuesday, April 29: 6:10 to 7:10 PM (Logsdon Pavilion)
• Wednesday, April 30: 6:10 to 7:10 PM (Logsdon Pavilion)
• Thursday, May 1: 6:10 to 7:10 PM (Logsdon Pavilion)

Pee Wees:

• Monday, April 28: 7:20 to 8:20 PM ("newcomers" only) (Logsdon Pav)
• Tuesday, April 29: 7:20 to 8:20 PM (Logsdon Pavilion)
• Wednesday, April 30: 7:20 to 8:20 PM (Logsdon Pavilion)

Mandatory Registration: May 5, 2008

There will be two stations so limited waiting for registrants if you come with all of the information completed and with all of the required tuition funds.

No Absences. If the package isn't at the rink on May 5 th add $50 for Administrative handling

• Squirts: 6:00- 6:30 PM (Tri-City Conference Room)
• Pee Wees 6:45-7:15 PM (Cafe Party Rooms)
• Bantams: 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM (Tri-City Conference Room)
• Midgets: 7:15 PM to 7:45 PM (Cafe Party Rooms)

Registration includes the following items (even if previous member):

• Signing of the Code Of Conduct- parents and players
• Proof of USA Hockey Registration
• Copy of Birth Certificate
• Individual Player Fact Sheet and Hockey Resume
• Check(s) payable to the Tri-City eagles for annual tuition
• 2008-2009 Parent Volunteer form

 

Fees

The fees for the 2008/2009 season are:

• Squirts: $1,900
• Pee Wees: $2,150
• Bantams: $2,400
• Midgets: $2,475

This fee INCLUDES: A summer mini-camp (3 practices) and three tournaments during the season (allowance of $3,300 per team). It also includes ten (10) powerskating sessions for squirts and pee wees and three (3) powerskating sessions for bantams and midgets. Each player will receive a practice jersey and both home and away game jerseys plus helmets and one pair of game socks.

Each player must register with USA Hockey and present proof at the time of of the TCE registration. The fees above assume full payment at the time of registration. If this is NOT the case then add $50 administrative charge. All checks must made tendered at registration, made payable to the Tri-City Eagles and post-dated (if multiple payments) to coincide with the following dates. Any deviation to this schedule will result in the additional $50 administrative fee.

At Registration for Try Outs: $580 ($500 towards the tuition, $80 for try outs)

• August 1: $500
• October 1: $500
• October 31: Balance
