TriCity PeeWees Raise Money for Breast Cancer Research

On June 6th, 2009, the TriCity PeeWee team participated in the Susan G. Komen National Race for the Cure, which raises money for local and national programs that promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. Although many of the team members had schedule conflicts and were not able to run the race, the team pulled together and raised $325. The team members who ran the 5K (3.1 mile) race, were easily among the youngest participating. They all did an outstanding job and crossed the finish with exceptional times. Thank you to everyone on the TriCity PeeWee team for their help in raising money for this important cause.
