Hockey experience

Gary has 44 years of playing experience. He has played locally for several Clubs from Mite through Midget. He has continued to play in several Adult Leagues in the Maryland, Virginia and DC area and is still playing competitively today.

Coaching Experience

Gary has over 25 years of coaching and teaching experience, having coached at all age levels.

He is a very successful coach, having coached the Mt. St. Joseph Varsity hockey team for the past seventeen seasons. He has coached Mt. St. Joseph to 10 consecutive MIAA championships and five MSHL state championships and 13 State Final appearances.

He also has been the Head Coach for the 11 seasons for the Tri-City Eagles Midget Blue Team, a Quarter Finalist in 2001 and a Semi-Finalist at the 2003 USA Hockey Nationals.

This past season Gary coached the TCE Squirt Blue team to a playoff appearance. He also was the Head Coach for the Team Maryland U18 Tier I team. He lead them to a Southeast District Championship and a USA Hockey National appearance.
He has also coached the Chesapeake Bay Lightning Women's Hockey Team for 10 years, where he led them to a USA Hockey National Title in 2001.
