Planning Well Underway for our 17th Season Even as we finish our current season and the Bantam Blue team prepares for their chances of representing the State of Maryland at USA Hockey Nationals, plans are being finalized for the coming season. Last weekend 3 Tri-City Eagle teams, parents and friends descended upon Lake Placid, NY for some winter fun. Bantam Blue, Bantam Gold and the Pee Wees made the trek north to the home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics. The weather was very snowy, the temps were in the teens and the fun was non-stop. The kids went tubing, skated in zero degree temps on the Olympic Oval, and played outdoor hockey in a mini rink with college players home for the winter break. We were up early and out late nearly every night. And yes, all three teams played some great hockey: [Full Story] About the Tri-City Eagles The Tri-City Eagles started play in 1993 with the mission of helping young individuals develop as athletes, leaders and productive members of the community through a competitive hockey program that stresses excellence, commitment, self-sacrifice, teamwork and sportsmanship. Be it on the ice where in our first thirteen years, we have sent six teams to USA Hockey Nationals or off-the ice where every team participates in multiple community service projects, our organization is respected as providing young individuals with many of the tenants of life vital for success as a hockey player and as a person. We seek to instill in every player a passion and a joy for the game of hockey and for life. From our exchange program with Sweden to our Annual Old Boys Games, we create long lasting memories of joy.
